Costa Cruises Italian Spirit
La Dolce Vita at Sea

Costa is Italy's flagship cruise line — warm, vibrant, and steeped in Mediterranean culture. Their ships are known for authentic Italian cuisine, lively entertainment, and itineraries that hug the coastlines of Europe, the Middle East, and the Indian Ocean. A popular choice for Kenyan travellers.

Princess Cruises Come Back New

Virgin Voyages Adults Only
Rebelliously Luxurious

Oceania Cruises Finest Cuisine
The World's Best Cruise Cuisine

Oceania consistently earns top marks for food — their ships carry renowned culinary schools and partner with celebrated chefs to deliver an on-board dining experience that rivals the finest restaurants ashore. Smaller ships mean more intimate ports and deeper destination immersion.

Mediterranean Asia South America Small ships
Azamara Destination Deep
Go Beyond. Stay Longer.

Azamara specialises in destination immersion — longer stays in port, more overnight calls, and itineraries that get into smaller, less-visited harbours that larger ships simply can't reach. Their boutique ships carry fewer than 700 guests, making for an exceptionally intimate voyage.

Regent Seven Seas sets the gold standard for all-inclusive luxury cruising — every shore excursion, speciality restaurant, premium drink, and even flights are included in the fare. With spacious suites, butler service fleet-wide, and fewer than 750 guests per ship, it is as close to a private yacht experience as cruising gets.

Cruise FAQ

What first-time cruisers from Kenya ask us most

Everything. TripGenius handles the cruise fare and cabin booking, return flights from Nairobi, airport transfers at the embarkation port, visa guidance, shore excursions, travel insurance, and any pre or post-cruise hotel stays. You deal with one person — we deal with everyone else. Optional add-ons like drinks packages and speciality dining are quoted separately.
Royal Caribbean and Norwegian are ideal starting points — both have extensive on-board activity programmes, lots of dining variety, and itineraries that give you multiple ports without being overwhelming. Norwegian's freestyle dining tends to appeal to first-timers who want flexibility around mealtimes. If you prefer a more polished, quieter atmosphere from the outset, Celebrity is worth the slight premium.
It depends on your passport and the ports on your specific itinerary. Kenyan passport holders generally require visas for the US, Schengen zone, and UK. Some ports allow visa-free entry specifically for cruise passengers on transit days, but this varies. TripGenius provides a full visa requirements breakdown for your exact sailing when you book — and guides you through every application.
6–12 months is the sweet spot — you get the widest cabin selection, the best pricing, and enough time to sort flights and visas without pressure. Popular sailings like Alaska in summer or the Caribbean over Christmas sell out 12–18 months ahead. Last-minute deals do exist, but cabin categories are limited and flights from Nairobi become harder to tie in cost-effectively. The earlier you speak to us, the better the package we can build.
For most cruisers, an ocean-view or balcony cabin is the best balance of value and experience. Interior cabins are the most affordable and perfectly fine if you plan to spend little time in the room. A balcony makes a real difference on longer sailings — private outdoor space matters after day three. Suites include priority boarding, butler service, and premium amenities, and are especially worth it on Celebrity or Princess. TripGenius will walk you through the options on your specific ship.
